Easter Plans 2015 | Hotel Castellar

Easter Semana es la vuelta de la esquina, y por esta occation especial hemos preparado dos ofertas para sus vacaciones en el Hotel Castellar.

Architecture, gastronomy, heritage and nature are the words that best define this three day  Easter plan. Visit the Pueblos Blancos with our detailed itinerary. In addition to our recommendations of places that you can visit, we also inform you about the most important monuments and of course where you can enjoy traditional Andalusian cuisine.

The route of the Pueblos Blancos encompasses some of  the most beautiful and visited towns in Cádiz. The route takes its name from the whitewashed facades of houses, villages full of so much light that it will leave you speechless.

The route, which you can do in your own vehicle, includes all the information needed to enjoy some unforgettable days filled with walks through the white streets, slumbering in shaded places whilst taking in aromas, tastes, contrasts and, of course, relaxation.

The first stop is Zahara de los Atunes. Spend a magnificent day on the tranquil Costa de la Luz, enjoying this town full of white ‘casas’ and its seafaring spirit.  Zahara de los Atunes is particularly known for tuna fishing. Relax and enjoy the walks along sandy beaches, whilst taking in the views to north Africa and Morocco on clear sunny days.

On this first day, we will also guide you through bohemian Tarifa, the windsurfing capital of Europe. Rejoice in typical Andalusian cuisine at one of the many trendy bars and cafés, and then drown in one of the most glorious sunsets in the country!

MapaCadOn your second day, we propose a trip away from the coast into the hinterland. Jimena de la Frontera will hypnotise you with its white streets followed by the gaditanas hills. Ronda, a spectacular ancient fortress with her astonishingly deep gorge is a wonder to behold.  Once seen, never forgotten.

On the final day, you have the choice of the city of Cádiz, the towns of Jeréz de la Frontera, Arcos de la Frontera or the British independent territory that is Gibraltar.

In addition to the route’s cultural and gastronomical interest, there is also great pastoral value, as you will drive through mountainous areas such as the Sierra de Grazalema, Serrania de Ronda or the Parque Natural de los Alcornocales. It is here, in this final spot, where you can rest and relax in our hotel. No matter where you are within the hotel, you can always enjoy the atmosphere and a unique landscape, with the possibility of relaxiation and  reinvigoration.
