Tasting the earth we are visiting, and never leaving it without being familiar with its flavour.
Every moment, every season, every landscape, brings its own flavour, its own cuisine. An aroma that has come into being for the very purpose of awakening within each one of us the most delicate and unique of pleasures.
When the mushroom season is almost over in the rest of the Iberian Peninsula, the time is ripe for it to begin in the Alcornocales Park. Cork oak and gall oak groves, as well as pine tree forests, are then in mushroom-filled splendour.
Come with us and you will enjoy the fragrance of Black Trumpets (Craterellus Cornucopioides), picking Boletus, or admiring the beautiful Cantharellus Cibarius and the well-known Milk Caps (Lactarius Deliciosus) in one of Europe’s richest mycological environments.
Welcome to the hotel and talk “Introduction to Mycology” and “100 Mushrooms from the La Amoraima Estate”, by prestigious mycologists (Mrs. Pilar Ferrer Agarrado and Mr. Luis Federico Sánchez).
Small groups will be given a talk and a Power Point presentation, together with materials related to the subject.
